Christopher Short

After a military career reaching the rank of Major as a British Army Infantry Officer, Christopher has over 25 years in the adventure travel industry. Leading and organising commercial treks and expeditions from the Himalaya to the Antarctic and has acted on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and travel clients in dispute with commercial expedition and travel companies from Everest to Cotopaxi and South Georgia.

Drawing on experience as a Trainer for the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK), the leading provider of water safety and drowning prevention education, Christopher has trained expedition leaders and advised professionally on water margin safety issues regards rivers, coastlines, DOfE and worldwide expeditions.
