David Cox MA, MSc(Ed), MBA, DipEd, FRSA

David Cox has more than 40 years experience teaching and specialises in international education and school leadership and management.

David started his career as geography teacher, head of department and deputy head in central London before being appointed headteacher of a large comprehensive school in Lincoln.

The school became a specialist language college - with extensive European and international networks - and after 20 years David retired in 2004 and has since developed his work in consultancy.

He works as an expert witness in both primary and secondary phases and focuses on the roles and responsibilities of teachers and schools - for example, in cases of on- and off-school premises accidents and mishaps. 

 

He has three masters degrees and a range of other qualifications and is an accredited consultant with the National College for Leadership of Schools and Children's Services facilitating senior leadership programmes.

David holds a Unilever Fellowship at the London Institute, visiting lectureships to a number of universities and has substantial experience in examining with various educational establishments and the Open University.

 

He has worked as an advisor to the Vice-Chancellor of University of Lincoln - specializing in China - and carries out work mentoring and advising on an early years language programme in Madrid.

David is a Law Society Checked expert witness who successfully acted upon instructions from many solicitors and continues to advise in a number of different legal scenarios.
